Guest guest
Dear Members, The ArchAvataram of perumAl is extensively described in the Agama Sasthras. One should not pass a personal opinion on theses issues. We should be guided by shAstras and our acharyas within our lineage. Dr V Varadachary recently published an excellent book on the PancharAtra Agama (published by TTD). It is in English. It extensively deals with the concept of ArchAvataram as enunciated in the Pancharatra Agamas. I reccomed that book for bhaktas. Please be guided by the theories within the shruthi/smriti/agamam and prabandham. It would be meaningless to look for ghee outside when we have butter in our own hands. Regards, Venkatanathan Athreya, Ph.D Bangalore, India. ______________
