They appear to have some solid research in Nyaya and MimAmasa. They seem to have a very well equipped library with over 21,000 books and manuscripts. Most importanly, they do have a collection of the Annals of the Bhandarkar Oriental Research Institute(BORI). BORI has published critical english translations of the purana-s.
