dear shri sukumar,

Swami Desikan, in his Sri KAmAsikAshtakam, mentions that Sri Nrisimha is

three-eyed-

"tapana indu agni nayana: tApAn apachinOtu na:" (the Sun, the Moon and Agni

are His three eyes). i am unable to provide the exact scrpitural reference.

in SingapperumAl kOil near Chennai and at T.Narsipur (if i remember correct)

near Mysore,Sri Nrisimha sports three eyes. thanks and regards, sadagopan.
