Guest guest
Humble pranams to all bhagavatas. i wd like to share little which i know reg naama japa. naama japa at the first stages purifies the mind which intends to wander on outerly world. as the mind tends to go out always, it is the first step for doing spiritual sadhana. when ones mind is busy in repeating the naama japa.. the mind gets concentrated slowly on doing the japa and.. it will involve in the naama itself.. keeping a count mentally may again deviate the mind from doing its naama japa.. to keep control of the count, a chain with 108 beads will be useful which will be moved with fingers automatically without any mind's effort. further more.. the count gives us some sort of material satisfaction like'today i cud complete atleast 108 times'. keeping a minimum target set for ourselves will be useful for self-discipline. one can always keep doing naama of their favourite gods all the time in whatever work they may be like.. while travelling, while standing, walking, etc. any comments and experiences from group members are welcome jai sriman narayana / gayatri sharma [ Please conduct extended discussion of the mechanics of nama-japa on sv-rituals.
