Guest guest
SrI: Dear BhakthAs: Today we will study the second of the Paasurams of Thirumangai Mannan on Lord DhaivanAyakan of ThiruvahIndhrapuram ( Periya Thirumozhi: 3.1.2): minnum aazhi amkaiyavan SeyyavaL uRai-taru ThirumArbhan pannu-naan maRap-pall poruL aahiya Paran idam varai saaral pinnu maadhavip-panthalil pedai varap-piNi avizh kamalatthu tennavenRu vaNDu innisai mural taru ThiruvayIdhrapuramE " Minnum aazhi amkaiyavan " = He is the One with most radiant chakram (Sudarsanam) in His hand . SeyyavaL uRai taru mArbhan = He is the One with MahA Lakshmi on His chest without separation (nithya vAsam on His Vakshasthalam as SrInivAsan). Naal maRai pal poruL Paran idam = This TiruvahIndhrapuram is the Home of the Lord , who is the SarvAntharyAmi of all chethanams and achethanams as revealed by VedAs and their Upanishads . Varai Saaral pinnu Maadhavi pandalil pedai vara = In the foot hills of Oushada Giri of ThiruvahIndhrapuram , the male honey bee with his consort wish to unite in the interlocking canopy made up of Maadhavi trees near the lotus ponds. piNi avizh kamalatthu tenna yennu vaNDu innisai mural taru ThiruvayeendhrapuramE = Inside the blossoming red Lotus flowers , the Honey bee couples wait to move on to their ultimate resting place for the night ( Interlocking Maadhavi Pandal nearby) and spend their time singing (ReemkAram) the sthOthrams about the Lord of ThiruvahIndhrapuram . If the honey bees wait without moving on , the lotus flowers will close their petals for the night and the bees will be locked up for the night. That place , where one hears Hari Naama sankIrthanam at the lotus ponds and Maadhavi Panthal is indeed ThiruvahIndhrapuram. SrI HemAbja Naayaki SamEtha SrI Achyutha Para BrahmaNE nama: Daasan , Oppiliappan Koil VaradAchAri SadagOpan ************************************************* Additional PramANams and references: 1. Minnum Aazhi amkaiyavan: " Sphurath SahasrAra sikhAthi theevram Sudarsanam BhAskara KOdi Tulyam ". That glittering Sudarsanam (minnum Aazhi) with thousands of spurts /rays is adorning the beautiful hand of the Lord ( amkaiyavan). Minnum Aazhi: Sphuda TaDith jaala pinjara ( SrI Sudarsana Ashtakam): The Sudarsanam is resembling in its radiant golden color like the shining assembly of lightning bolts. 2. SeyyavaL uRai ThirmArbhan: (SrInivAsan): Lord's lakshanam (defining mark ) is the residence of MahA Lakshmi on His Chest ( ahalahillEn yenRu AlarmEl Mangai uRai Thiru Maarbhan). Seyyaval is MahA Lakshmi , the HiraNya VarNai ( HirnyavarNAm HariNIm ) , who engages in the act of PurushakAram (Seyya vallavaL , Vaallabhyam ). 3. Naal maRai pal poRul Paran : SarvAntharyAmithvam of the Lord as revealed by the four VedAs and their Upanishads--PramANams: AntharyAmi Brahmam sections of BruhadhAraNyaka Upanishad, 3.7.8--3.7.27 celebrates ParamAthman/Paran as the immanent , indweller of all chEthanams and achEthnams .That antharyAmi Brahman is different from the JivAthman. As the AntharyAmi , the Supreme Lord is the inner controller of all sentients and insentients. This antharyAmi Brahman concept is fundamental to the Body-Soul relationship ( SarIra-SarIri Bhaava) developed by AchArya RaamAnuja as the central plank of VisishtAdhvaitham. This Upanishadic antaryAmi Brahman can not be fully seen by the sense organs due to His infinite nature. This antharyAmi Brahman is seen and is seeable in all its splendor as Archai at Thiruvaheendhrapuram as Dhaiva Naayakan for our benefit. Other Upanishadic PramANams about AntharyAmi Brahman are found in SvEthasvatharam(I.9) KathOpanishat (I.3.1), Brahma Soothram (I.2.11:anupravEsam in created beings ) and ChAndhOgyam (VI.3.3).
