Guest guest
Sir I have been these letters regarding soul after death with interest. My uncle UV Ganapadi Desikachariar of Mannargudi, who is the consultant on Visistadvaita for both Ahobila Madam and Andavan Sannadhi has translated Pitur Meda Sastram written by Apasthamba Rishi into 2 books called Poorva Prayogam and Aparaprayogam.I have had the oppurtunity to talk to him regarding translating these books into English and he agreed provided somebody can stay in Vaduvoor in my native village. I wish to recall the Words of Nigamantha Maha Desika where in Amirtha ranjini he states that those who have taken Prapatti will be content serving the Lord whereever he is without entering into such debates as the individual who has surrendered to the Lord has agreed to the Lord as his Master and it is upto the master to look after us ,we are content serving him devotedly. For semi believers there is always scope for arguments. However we Srivaishnavas beleive strongly in the Karmas mentioned in the Aparaprayoga and follow it as was done by our Acharyas ,Bhasyakara and Nigamantha Maha Desika. For those who are interested in the details these books are available at Andavan Sannadhi at Desikachariar street,Chennai Adiyen Narasimha Dasan ______________________ Missed your favourite TV serial last night? Guest guest
Dear Sir These books are available in andavan Ashramam (Mannargudi Desikachariar Swamigal) and are in sanskrit with a sankrit commentary and a Tamil explanation and I think you will have to spend time in Vaduvur with Ganapati Desikachariar and his Shisya Ganapati Govindacharya who are probably the only two people who have access to the original text written by the rishi.I can send the phone no of Swamigal.I will be in Vaduvur for the utsavam on 12 th april, but right now I am In Japan till the month end ,so if you want get the book first ,read it and then talk to swamiagal and then proceed with the work.It will be a great contribution for the next generation and while translating dont get scared because it is scary regards narasimhan --- narasimhan kannan <narakannan wrote: > Dear SrI Narasimhan Kannan: > > I am very happy to recieve your mail on > PithrumEdha SamskArams . > > Are your unlce's books in Tamil ? > Are they avilable at Andavan Aasramam? > > I will be more than happy to translate them > and make it available to all. > > Please let me know. many thanks. > V.Sadagopan > > P.S : I am an Ahobila matam sishyan , > who has been blessed with BharanyAsam > by HH the 45th Heeyar .
