Guest guest Posted March 5, 2003 Report Share Posted March 5, 2003 dear shri Vimalkumar, the chanting of the Ashtakshara bestows moksha in the sense that a deep study of the mantra enables us to realise the true nature of ourselves. our Lord and Master, the strategy we have to adopt for ridding ourselves of the Karmic bonds, what prevents us from doing so and what is the nature of the bliss that awaits us in Srivaikuntam. once a person knows all this, he would definitely seek out his Acharya and adopt Bhakti or Prapatti, which in turn would confer Moksha on him. thus, though the mere chanting of a mantra may not liberate one, it would definitely put him on the path to Paramapadam. dasan, sadagopan - <bhakti-list> <bhakti-list> Thursday, March 06, 2003 4:01 AM Digest Number 840 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
