Guest guest
Hi All There has been a quite a number of e-mails and pictures floating, claiming that "this is a very rare photograph of Balaji - taken inside the Tirumala temple many years ago. In the history of Tirumala Temple only 2 times photos were allowed to be taken" Please refer http://web.njit.edu/~sk33/tirupati_balaji.htm Can scholars or bhaktas throw light if this is really the true picture of the lord? I cannot really believe that a photograph would have been allowed inside the "Anantha Nilayam", where the rules of the agamas are strictly followed even in the case of VVIPs. Further I have never seen the Lord without a single flower on his divine "moola beram" and there are unconventional jewels bedecking him. I have my own doubts that this picture is "manufactured" Any thoughts on this issue will really dispel the clouds of doubt and also the commercial exploits of this picture amongst the devout Hindus. Did anybody had a chance to verify this claim with the TTD? Thanks Ravishankar Kannabiran
