This is about the question about SriKrishna being able to recite all of

Gita at war time. It turns out that there are only 700 verses which could

be recited in a couple of hours or less. I know a group of people who

recite the entire Gita on Gita Jayanti day in about two hours. As you know

the war at that time was more deliberate than now. They had specific rules

about when to fight, how to start the fighting etc. Moreover, SriKrishna

was a well respected authority whose words everybody would certainly listen

to even if they don't follow. So it is not unreasonable to think that He

narrated the entire Gita just before war. Since most people's serious

doubts resurface just at the beginning of the major undertaking, Arjuna

needed it at this juncture rather than some other time.
