My revered pranam to all the Gurus here, I feel very fortunate to be able to

read all this satsang, Please pardon me my wish here to copy some of the items

down below from Ramayana & Geeta.

The glory of Guru:

>From TulsikritRamayana:

Bandau Guru pada kanja Kripa sindhu nara rupa hari

maha moha tama punja jasu bachana rabikara nikara.

My own master's feet I revere,

Sea of kindness, Lord Vishnu in man's form below,

By whose words, than the sun's rays more clear,

Error's night is dispersed, as night always must go.

Bandau guru pada padamu paraga. Suruchi subasa sarasa anuraga.

amie muri maye churana charu . samana sakala bhava ruja pariwaru.

sukrita sambhu tana bimala bivuti. manjula mangala moda prasuti.

jana mana manju mukura mala harani. kie talaku guna gana basa karani.

sri guru pada nakha mani gana jyoti. sumirata dibya dristi hiya hoti.

dalana moha tama so saprakasu. bade bhaga ura awy jasu.

udharahi bimala bilochana hi ke. mitahi dosa dukha bhava rajanike.

sujhahi ramacharita mani manika. guputa pragata jahan je jehi khanik.

I honour the dust of my lord's lotus feet,

So brilliant and fragrant, refreshing and sweet;

The substance and root of the life that is deathless,

All evils allaying and rendring them harmless;

Like ashes on Lord Siva's body divine,

"Tis the cleanse of fifth from the mirror-like soul;

Once applied it brings virtues within our control.

Recalling the nails of his feet, jewel-bright,

All my heart is illumined with heavenly light.

Like sun-rays the darkness of error dispelling;

How blessed is he in whose heart is its dwelling.

When heavenly glory thus lightens the heart

All the night sha conceal or display.

Guru pada raja mridu manjula anjan. Naena amie drig dosa bivanjan.

The dust of his feet is a salve soft and pleasing,

for healing the eyes, giving sight and pain easing.

from Sri mad Bhagbat Geeta:

tad viddhi pranipatena

pariprasnena sevaya

upadeksyanti to jnanam

jnaninas tattvadarsinah 4-34

Understand the true nature of that Knowledge by approaching illumined soul. If

you prostrate at their feet, render them service, and question them with an

open and guileless heart, those wise seers of Truth will instruct you in that

Knowledge.

I suppose, my very weak voice from inside probably is trying to ex-press. Guru

is no other than our selves. How can I understand all this beauty of knowledge

& peace without the grace of Guru. After one realises the truth Guru most be

very very dear to the realised soul.

My pranam to all.

Raju
