REMINDERS

............

------------

The blooming Rose with its fragrance

in my garden

reminds me, the beauty of your soul

The tree standing tall and strong

in front of me

reminds me, the strength you possess

The breeze coming over the fields

from far away lands

reminds me, the gentleness of your touch

The songs of the birds I hear early

in the morning

reminds me, the sweetness in your voice

The eagle soaring high in that vast

cloudless sky

reminds me, the freedom of your spirit

The sun shining bright and hot up above

over my head

reminds me, the brilliance of your mind

The evening sky with all its splendor

beyond those hills

reminds me, the beauty with in you

The full moon, playing hide and seek

behind those moving clouds

reminds me, the coolness of your presence

The stars that twinkle merrily above

in the skies

reminds me, the sparkle in your eyes

The thoughts crossing my mind

at this minute

reminds me, how fleeting

a moment of happiness can be.
