Guest guest
Although I have been on this e-mail list for a little while, I have had nothing to add to the conversations until now. The whole discussion of "Who is a true advaitin?" reminds me of other conversations I have heard regarding "Who is a true Christian?". I always find it amazing that people insist upon their own way as the only right way. Only Catholics are Christian, only Protestants are Christian, only fundamentalists are Christian, etc., etc. I have heard of a person named "Robert" who will not answer you if you make a mistake and call him "Bob". In my own experience, God does not mind what you call Him, or how you call Him. If you call out for God, the Absolute, the Creator, He will answer. If you come to complete stillness and turn the attention to the present moment, you will find Him. Why split hairs when the Lord has given us an infinite number of hairs??? Most arguments are just food for the ego and the mind. Come to complete stillness and the answer is there. May God bless us all for truly seeking after Him, the ultimate Truth.
