Note: It is my pleasure to introduce the new member Shri.

Dhakshinamoorthy from Malaysia. He is my eldest brother's son-in-law and

is quite interested in Hindu philosophical works and its heritage. I

have enclosed his write-up below and let me welcome him on behalf of all

of you.

I have been exposed to some small aspects of the Hindu philosophy. I

have read and to a certain extent grasped the essence from the Bagavad

Gita, Ramayana (both the Valmiki's version and the Tulsidas'

Ramacharitmanas) and also books such as the Patanjali Yoga Sutras, The

Crest Jewel of Shankara and Yoga Vasistha.

With the knowledge of the above and many other great saints such as the

works of Ramakrishna, Ramana and Sivananda I thought I had some bragging

rights over an average person of my age. But this was brought to nil

when I chanced upon J.Krishnamurti. I realised that "I" am nothing and

that there is no such a thing as "security". This made me realise that

only moment to moment awareness matters and with this I operate quite

differently.
