Guest guest
Greetings: Many of you know about the Advaita-L (Similar to Advaitin on Advaita Philosophy). Few days back, the list has moved out of its original location at Tamu.edu to its new location. Archives of ADVAITA-L are located at the Web Site: http://lists.advaita-vedanta.org/archives/advaita-l.html In addition, a new home page is getting developed on Advaita philosophy at the following address: http://www.advaita-vedanta.org. This site is currently under construction and will be ready soon with the materials that were developed originally by Vidyasankar Sunderasan. Some may be wondering what is the difference between Advaita-L and Advaitin and let me try to explain. Both these lists focus the discussions on Advaita Philosophy of Satguru Sankaracharya. Advaita-L wants to focus more specifically on Shankara's view points, works and view points and works of ShankaraMaths (Institutions established by Shankaracharya). The list moderator may allow some discussions on closely related topics. Advaitin wants to explore the entire spectrum of non-dual philsophies including Shankara's Advaita philosophy. The most important point is that both these lists aim to serve the spiritual community through these discussion forums to express their view points within the guidelines specified by the list moderators. I encourage members who want to enhance their understanding of Advaita Philosophy to take advantage of both these lists and the list archives. Let me take this opportunity to express our good wishes to Advaita-L at the new location on behalf of all of you.
