Guest guest
Dear Jay and Ram: I was happy to be accepted as a fellow soul struggling to be awakened. I find Internet as a significant new tool for starting a global Socratic dialog among gentle souls to continue the journey towards the understanding of Ultimate Reality. I enjoyed the article "Advaita Vedanta" by Shankara Bhagwatpaada immensly. Although I have found the Vedantic message and Buddha's awakenings to be landmarks in human history, the journey is not over yet as some believe wrongly. Each successive age brings about more and more awakened souls, thanks to the fast availability of "good knowledge" and an improved "rules of law" in different parts of the world. Presently, USA, India and many European countries are providing such an environs. Buddha would have loved Internet as it destroys the tyranny of the holy man. True worldwide awakenings will only come about when "almost awakened souls" can have an unfettered dialog, in perfect freedom and gentility. I believe we are just about ready to go to the next step in realizing the true nature of the universal force that is ultimately bringing us closer to a "global brain" or "higher collective consciousness". In 1968 I was very young when a question on UltimateTruth was posed by my company's CEO. I said I have to write a book. Since he wanted a quick answer, I subsidized the publication. He enjoyed the book so much that he distributed the books to many who came to his office. Since many of my fellow retirees have asked to read the book, I put the book on my website at <www.econets.com/hmhc/>. The title was "Holy Men and Holy Cows". My inner thoughts are in a section entitled "My Inner Land" for any one interested. I will be posting my future thoughts on my website in the future. I have a dream that every soul could write a book and post it on the Internet for everyone to read and resonate over the entire globe. My discovery of the ONELIST was a very happy one indeed. Thanks again. Roshan L. Sharma Roshan L. Sharma <rsharma 214-691-6790 <voice>
