Guest guest
Dear Friends, I've decided to re- to both Advaitin and the Ramkrishna lists. My thanks to the list moderators for the speedy renewal of my subscriptions. Although not locked down to any religion or sadhana, Advaita Vedanta (both as taught by Adi Shankara and Sri Ramakrishna/Vivekananda) teaches pure Advaita, not overcomplicated by such matters as tantra and kundalini (although these practices and experiences may have a place with some). As a practitioner of jnana and raja yogas, I feel that participation here (especially listening to the words of others) will help in sadhana. In addition, perhaps I will be able to contribute something of assistance to another as well, including direction to websites that may be able to answer questions. For those who are curious, my site is at: http://www.eskimo.com/~fewtch/ND/one.html Although Advaitin tends to be somewhat of a "scholarly" list, and many of the sanskrit terms are still unfamiliar, I am learning (for example, the difference between nirguna brahman and saguna brahman are now clear in this mind). I hope to continue learning, and especially look forward to facing the burning flame of truth, not with fear or anxiety, but with joy and equanimity. Truth is all that matters to this "individual." Knowing truth is my life's work, there is no other, ever. May any and all ignorance be removed from all d here. In the name of OM I say a petitionary prayer unto Grace that the scales of ignorance may fall forever from those who read this message.
