Guest guest
I think Tim's question was well put and surprisingly and refreshingly well answered. The issue with intellect is that even with the best reasoned arguments and training the ego can still be a powerful foe to spiritual developement. I have noticed this issue time and again come up in spiritual life. One of the reasons I continue to follow this list is the humility present and the willingnesss to have a mature approach to issues raised. A balanced sage will have both mind and heart approach to spiritual life, both Bhakti and Jnani togethere make for a strong practice. - Art lgregory
