Hello everyone,

F.Maiello, I remember running across your web page about 3 years ago .. do you

still have it up? May I have the url?

I have a friend who is close to Ramana. He has been meeting him in dreams since

he was 4. What a blessing.

I thought I'd like to share this ..

"The sun's rays bring forth layers of cloud. By them, the sun is concealed; and

so it appears that the clouds alone exist. In the same way, the ego, which is

brought forth by the Atman, hides the true nature

of the Atman; and so it appears that the ego alone exists.

On a stormy day the sun is swallowed up by thick clouds; and these clouds are

attacked by sharp, chill blasts of wind. So, when the Atman is enveloped in the

thick darkness of tamas, the terrible power of

rajas attacks the deluded man with all kinds of sorrows.

Man's sorrow is caused by the power of these two - tamas and rajas. Deluded by

these he mistakes the body for the Atman and strays onto the path that leads to

birth and rebirth."

I wonder if anyone can clarify for me whether body, even mind dissociation, is a

natural part of the process of transformation? Then how this body/mind is to be

used to express pure awareness, after grounding

back in body? I hear much about ascent, but little on how to descend back vast

awareness of void, back into a transformed body. There may be continued

dissociation if this is not achieved. Sorry if this

sounds like a silly question ..

Body and mind cannot be separated and the transformation of mind-body is in

the sense that it won't be a hindrance. Anyone starting to (K.) awake will

notice awareness is seemingly increasing. What actually is happening, is

that veils are disappearing and sometimes a change will be discontinuous.

Either there is an "I" or there isn't; there is no in-between. Without an

"I" there will be no more suffering, but pain still can be felt. The second

discontinuity is that either there is body-consciousness or there isn't;

again there is no in-between. Awake without a body-consciousness, pain can

no longer be felt so its warning function is inoperative; it is the rare

situation of Sat-Chit-Ananda "linked to a living body" and whether that body

is alive or not won't make any difference.
