Guest guest
Hi Tim & all... > Just drop all expectations and wander bravely into the unknown. > What you find will fill you with delight and bliss and awe and wonder. I like this one. The truth is inconceivable (at least by me) and yet is undeniably present *as* every aspect of every moment of existence. Not knowing what to think, I bow to the truth and in the abscence of thought the truth is revealed (in "my" place) to be of the nature of awareness and bliss. And yet, the universe still appears! The universe appears but of course not separately from the knowing of it. The appearing of the universe is illusory if illusory is defined to be "whatever changes" but might the apparent universe also be real if considered as the freedom of the Absolute to express itself? What if the duality of subjects and objects is itself intentionally created by Shiva in order to emanate and re-absorb a new universe of infinitely interelated appearances in each moment? I prefer to see the universe of relative appearance as my God in person - dancing! -- rather than a byproduct of anyone's ignorance. Any of us can join in the dance until completely lost in what we already are -- the pure undifferentiated self illuminating awareness of Shiva who is the unchanging Self of all AND its continually changing expression. Om Namah Shivayah! Regardless of how we like to try to conceive the inconceivable truth -- I *am* It, you *are* It and all this *is* It or so I like to think we all agree. true? Guest guest
Yes we all agree! Here is a beautiful quotation from Bhagavatam: "Truth has many aspects. Infinite truth has infinite expressions. Though the sages speak in diverse ways, they express one and the same Truth. Ignorant is he who says, "What I say and know is true; others are wrong." It is because of this attitude of the ignorant that there have been doubts and misunderstandings about God. This attitude it is that causes dispute among men. But all doubts vanish when one gains self-control and attains tranquillity by realizing the heart of Truth. Thereupon dispute, too, is at an end." (Srimad Bhagavatam 11.15) Regards, Ram a c wrote: > > "a c" <ac >........................ > Regardless of how we like to try to conceive the > inconceivable truth -- I *am* It, you *are* It > and all this *is* It or so I like to think we all > agree. true?
