Guest guest
The issue of renunciation of the world is an interesting topic. I was thinking that the Ashramas is less disruptive of the social pattern in society and still allows for retirement or renunciation later in life... Thus the ashramas schemata fits the development of the ego or normal stages in life better. First the student, then the hoseholder, finally the renunciate.. One still meets social responsibilities early in life with time the responsibilities naturally are reduced as children grow up and leave home and sexual appetites tend to decline as well .... - Art Gregory lgregory
