I can't display siddhis because I am neither a jivanmukti nor a siddha -- but some can and do. I have no problem with this -- it's no shame to be somewhat less than perfectly enlightened... :-)) In Theravadin Buddhism bliss is the first of increasingly refined meditative absorptions. It would seem the light in both cases is identical so the distinction you're making is one of degree not kind? From my own limited experience, I do know about bliss shining through all three states of consciousness but I can't talk about "absolute ananda" Frank -- perhaps you'd like to tell us what that's like -- is it just *really* big or what?
