Guest guest
Dear Fellow Truth Seekers: I have been a member of Onelist for only a few months but now regularly each morning I sit down in front of the computer to share/view the thoughts of my fellow members. I would like to share the following thoughts influenced by such interactions : 1. Many thanks to the Internet technology for affording a chance to develop my consciousness in ways never possible in older times; 2. No entity exists by itself - there is a universal connectivity between all entities of the universe; 3. All entities are always evolving; nothing is permanent; 4. The evolution always seems to have had a direction (or purpose) towards creating a human entity with greater and greater consciousness while preserving individual freedom for Karmas needed for hastening the day of universal LOVE; 5. Each human must strive to understand the laws of the world affecting all material, social and spiritual entiries; 6. Each human must also strive to experience the three universal graces of faith, hope and love until the dawning of Satyayug or Kingdom of God on Earth when only LOVE will prevail. 7. I would also like to see the members strive to develop a new "universal language" that helps us to convey our deepest thoughts in ways compatible with new knowledge and experiences - in ways that does not always require the dependence on old scriptures. Wishing peace to all. Roshan Lal Sharma. Roshan L. Sharma <rsharma 214-691-6790 <voice>
Guest guest
Greetings Sharmaji: Thanks for beautiful executive summary of thoughts. Let me add the following message from the Upanishads and Gita in support of your conclusion: True happiness consists in expanding our souls in every direction and reaching out in brotherly union with other souls, to that universal spirit who is the perfection of knowledge, beauty and love. This path to true happiness is Pravritti Marga. The acquisition of knowledge, the worship of beauty, and the thrilling experience of love is only knowing the different phases of knowing the SELF. This is Nivritti Marga, the path of concentration. The internal world and the external world needs equal attention to reach the transcendental consciousness. The Bhagavad Gita says, " He who sees that the way of renunciation and the way of works are one, he becomes the Seer!" regards, Ram Chandran >"Roshan L.
