Guest guest
Fellow advaitins: I feel that I have to provide some explanation to the list members of the advaitin list serve. I got the feeling from ac mails that he was not really interested in the answers we give but more to raise the issues that have been raised again and again by VishishTaadvaitins and dwaitins. He strongly believes in VishishTaadvaita and there is no problem in that. There is no problem is questioning either if one is genuinely interested to know. But I got the impression that was not the case with ac. Since his heart is in VishishTaadaita I suggested that he should to that list to get more of it. If in the processes of my answers I have offended any members of the list my apologies. Hari Om! Sadananda
Guest guest
Ram Chandran <chandran Namaste: I understand that you have honest problems and all such problems can be resolved peacefully. I know Sadanandaji and he did not ask you to quit. He was just suggesting that faith is an integral part of an enquiry. Yes, thank you Ramji. Your point is important. Sadaji has a beautiful heart and puts enormous time and effort in explaining intricate subtleties of Vedanta. We are all beneficiaries of that and I am in particular. Like Frankji, I am not sure, whether the mystery of life can be disentangled purely and solely with the help of the intellect, although having a powerful one like Sadaji, Gregji, a c ji, Murthyji, Ramji, and so many others have on this list is certainly helpful in explaining and understanding certain things. From a c's comments, it is clear that he is quite advanced on the path of yoga and meditation. I would request a c and others to try the fellowship that I moderate (). The premise of the fellowship is that the path to Divine is unique to each individual and it is open to discussion from all points of view from all spiritual traditions. It does take a few weeks to get used to the culture of that list. The Advaitin list is a wonderful resource and I enjoy the wisdom here immensely. Thanks and love to all. Let me echo Harsha-ji's invitation. It is a very open and hospitable list, lovingly and carefully moderated by Harsha himself. There are people posting from lots and lots of traditions, from no traditions, scholarly and informally, etc. Maybe it would be of interest to a c. I'm sure there are dualist and qualified-non-dualist lists on the net as well. I hope that a c finds what he is looking for. His questions , and should he return to advaitin, I'll certainly welcome him gladly!! Regards, --Greg
