JAY! The Katha Upanishad says something to the effect: -Neither by effort or learning scriptures nor listening to discources etc. is the Self known, but by whom the Self chooses, It reveals Itself. So, is this pointing to the concept of "Grace" ? (not meant to offend the Jnanis) ~dave
Guest guest
Hari Om! In Advaita, Grace is subtle and is always present! Grace is necessary and sufficient to suppress the intellect! Jnanis have suppresed the intellect and consequently can never feel offended. By the way, If Jnanis are offended by your question, then it just proves that thier Jnanam is incomplete! Guest guest
Hello my Friend in Dharma, If you hear your SELF, ATMAN, who is GOD.. , you are earing Consciousness.. You see that on the Upanishads Chandogya and Aryanaka.. (Sorry for my bad English : my maternal language is French...)
