Guest guest
Yes, this is pointing to Grace. But Grace is more than a concept, it is actually and literally the Self choosing to reveal Itself, the "act" made "fact." Grace may come in any form, and Grace is the mother and the child. Loving the mother as the mother loves the child, there is only Sattva, which lights the way to liberation. Shankara says the same, using different wording. Tim --------- The Katha Upanishad says something to the effect: -Neither by effort or learning scriptures nor listening to discources etc. is the Self known, but by whom the Self chooses, It reveals Itself. So, is this pointing to the concept of "Grace" ? (not meant to offend the Jnanis) ----- "Realization begins where knowledge ends."
