Guest guest
i had read the discussions on infinity and would like to add this quote to the discussion: "the absolute is not like the infinite of arithmetic.it is the infinite that is yourself, itself.it is not like the horizon, which, the more you go near it,the further it recedes.the infinite does not mean an exclusive thing, but an inclusive thing.it is not mathematical,it is spiritual.the absolute is pure being"---sw.krishnananda of d-l-society. also i feel that ,if we are referring to the infinite, then whence is the place for ''we'' (the perceiver, the observer)apart from the infinite?if we refer to the infinite, where is the place for 'we',how can there be anything outside of infinity, and if there is; how can it(the infinite which we are referring to) qualify to be called the infinite ?infinite in number is an arithmetic concept, infinite in existence is a spiritual concept;brought to us by those who have perceived it in fact.
