Guest guest
namaste. We are indeed fortunate and honored to have shri Madhava Kumar Turumella inducted as a co-moderator for our List. Shri Madhava has accepted our invitation and is a co-moderator effective immediately. All of us have seen shri Madhava's contributions to the List since its inception and his recent postings on mystic experiences are gems. Although in advaitic approach, the individuality of the human is less important than the SELF, I would like to put in a paragraph here to give a sample of shri Madhava's remarkable contributions to the human spiritual growth. Madhava was born in 1968 in Andhra Pradesh, India and underwent youth training called "Dharma Veer" for a year at the ashrama of swamini saradapriyananda (also a member of our List). He has studied Apastamba gruhya sUtrAs under Shri Kota Kotisubbarama Sastry and was initiated into shivadiksha by shri Kotayya. Shri Madhava wrote a commentary on shatarudrIyam (the time-honored and revered vedic hymn in praise of Lord shiva) published by Chinmaya Mission in India. He is very proficient in sanskrit, wrote stotrAs on his guru swamini sharadapriyananda and on Lord shiva. He also wrote a vedanta shataka (poetry comprising hundred poems) in Telugu on his guru. He works as an Information Technology Manager. We are indeed fortunate to have him as a co-moderator and the List is honored. Guest guest
namaste. In my earlier post on this subject (which I sent a few minutes ago and which has not appeared in my mail yet and I am appending to this), the material should have gone under the signatures of both shri Ram Chandran and myself as co-moderators. My apologies to shri Ram Chandran for inadvertantly not including his name.
