Guest guest
dear friends, Ramji's post has no doubt settled the issue by giving the meanings of 'tolerance' and 'accomodation'.but "tolerance" in daily usage has no doubt a negative tone to it,and accomodation certainly gives some idea of a favor being done, how about 'respect'? ,i feel this word is the most proper when dealing with differing religious viewpoints.-devendra. Guest guest
Your suggestion to replace "Tolerance" to "Respect" is a beautiful suggestion. I like your suggestion and it expresses our magnanimity with an eagerness to build friendship. >"Devendra Vyas" > ..... >how about 'respect'? ,i feel this word is the most proper when dealing with >differing religious viewpoints.-devendra.
