Guest guest
I have been keenly following the controversy over the subject "Is Guru essential?". There is no objection to having a "good" Guru. But one has to be less than wise to say that without a Guru no self-realization is possible. Ultimate Reality can unfold itself in many mysterious ways as Graces of God. I believe that eventually through evolution (our ability to eradicate disease and use of Internet are only some of many God's graces), the entire humanity will be blessed with a Universal Consciousness allowing most of us to experience moksha. The dawn of a real satyuga will occur only then and we will all have one true Guru in Brahmin. Until then we will get to see only a few lucky ones such as Buddha, Christ, Mohammed, Shankara, Nanak, Ramakrisha and Vivekanand. The rest of us will have to be born several times before experiencing pure nirvana. To my amazement, I found K. Sadananda's letter of 11/18/99 supporting the above view. I hope Om Shanti Shanti to all. Roshan L. Sharma Roshan L. Sharma <rsharma 214-691-6790 <voice>
