Guest guest
Please send all your suggestions and comments on the moderation policy to advaitins with the subject title: Moderation Policy. Additional Policy Considration: Moderators should take time to read any complaint from a member regarding inapproriate messages (including foul language) at .com mailbox at least once a week in the Folder: Moderation Complaints. The chief moderator or the first visitor to the mailbox will move the mails to appropriate folders. Any Moderator can initiate an investigation of the complaint by alerting the team members. Then the deliberations will be conducted through email correspondence and appropriate action will be recommended to the chief moderator. First, time the violating member will be reminded the list policy with a warning for future action. For repeated violations, the offender's open posting privileges will be replaced with subject to moderation. During the past 15 months we had two cases, both were quite extreme cases. After these incidents, we did not have any serious problems and hopefully, we may not have to take unkind actions in the future. As a team we should take necessary efforts through private correspondence and avoid unnecessary bureaucracy. Moderators have no special privileges with respect to posting the messages and they have the same and equal rights as other regular members. On the otherhand, they should exhibit more more respect and courtesy to the viewpoints of fellow members. Please feel free to make your suggestions and send your replies soon, regards, Ram chandran
