Who am I?

First I was dying to finish high school

And I was dying to go and join the college

And then I was dying to finish college

And then I was dying to start working

Then I was dying to get married

And then dying to have my own children

And then I was dying to take care of my children

When they grow old enough, I was dying to go back to work

But then I was dying to look forward to retire

And now, I am dying . . .

And suddenly I realized I had a dream!

I determine to live rather than dying

I decided to enjoy every day of my living

And thank God for the good and bad in my life.

I am living for God and I have nothing to worry

Good and bad come and go, but I have to live

I realize that everyday is a day of thanksgiving.

Give Him the praise for what He is doing in my life

Perhaps something is amiss or has gone awry

But He is my Lord and I his servant

He can never leave me behind nor I can leave him

He is within me and I am within Him

I am always living and everyday is worth living!

I have no more dreams and no more dying!
