Colette,

What's the primary subject matter of the other list (the one you moderate)?

And what exactly was it that spooked people? (If you don't mind my asking -

I'm just nosy :-)

Greetings & Blessings Madhava ~ your heart is embracive thankyou.

I just want to check that the Geeta Satsang is going ahead on this list? No need

to sign up to a new one?

I want to support what Frank shared about how we are representative of differing

levels of understanding & how what one shares may be more confusing for another.

For instance I shared this recently at another list (which I moderate) & it was

met by fear except by one or two who responded.

I shared .....

My meditations on my own healing continue ~

"God is the giver, the unconditional giver.

If you are also a giver, your hands will always be empty

and the God can give you more.

If you are a miser, your relationship with the divine is cut.

Then you live as a small wave, always afraid of losing.

Live as the ocean. Be oceanic!

Never think about losing anything.

Nothing is lost ~ nothing can be lost.

And you are not an individual;

you appear only as an individual.

The whole is joined to you,

You are just a face of the whole,

Just as way the whole has happened.

Don't be worried about it.

It is never going to end.

This existence is beginingless & endless.

Enjoy, celebrate, be active,

And always be a giver.

To be a giver so totally

That you never think of retaining

Or holding anything

Is the only real prayer.

To give is to pray.

To give is to love.

And those who can give,

They always are given more."

~Osho~

At present I am learning (or is it unlearning :-) the difference between

I Am (whole) & the mistaken notion that I am my personality. There seems

to be a core Amness devoid of individual person.

This is the Impersonal God.

~*~ Hmmm most weren't ready for That!

I also want to clarify for myself, the difference between a core amness (I Am

That) a differentiated witness, and the constructed programmed personality.

I guess I am asking what quotes has anyone found that refer to a continuing

Being which is the unconditional Self, yet is perceived through a differentiated

pure witness, while evolution continues through the forever contraction &

expansion of the

Divine. In other words seems to me there's a core oneness which observes &

experiences duality too. Both at Oneness. In order to take part in the play

differentiation is still needed. (I am not calling this the projecting

programmed personality that

is false). I will call It the pure ego or super ego as I have seen it referred

to. Wondering if Shankara ever mentioned this aspect of Being?

Blessings, for Peace & Joy in every moment.

Into the millenium we go shining,

Love,

Col

Thank you for your kind words.

Yes! We will be conducting Geeta satsang through the same

"Advaitin " list. No need to sign for any new one.

If any one wants to , they just need to send a BLANK message to the

following e-mail address:

advaitin-

I am thinking of collecting the entire Gita along with discussions and put

it as a website. Because I thought this will help people who joined in the

middle to read and catch up the earlier slokas/discussions, instead of

searching through the entire list archives. I found the site but I need a

volunteer who could help, guide me in building up the Geeta web. If anybody

out there please send me a personal message. Thank you.

Best Regards,

Madhava

Oh hi Warren. In March my spiritual mentor gave me a glimpse of the Impersonal.

Whoa!

Anyhow I came back looking for support so I set up a support list called

kundaliniheat as I had only recently learnt I must have active kundalini. I

believe in helping each other to integrate anyway we can. I have learnt a lot

from the other members.

There was a lot I didn't know.

I still do not believe it is enough to just gain spiritual awareness. There is

the necessary adjustment to make after each expansion in consciousness by the

form, bearing the awareness of the eternal, & formless.

The primary subject matter is love :-) Sharing love to help each other

integrate initiations. This can be as one wishes to express it. It may be quotes

theories sharing experiences good & bad or even just asking for advice.

Hmm a few find it spooky when another speaks of losing attachment to persona, to

gain wholeness.

Bye now,

Colette
