Gita Ch. 10, v. 9-10-11: These verses summarise in one way the goal,

the means, and the culmination of Gita Satsang:

 

machchittaa madgatapraaNaa bodhayantaH parasparam.h .

kathayantashcha maa.n nitya.n tushhyanti cha ramanti cha ..

 

With the mind and breath absorbed in Me, instructing each other, and ever

speaking of Me, they (wise devotees) are contented and delighted.

 

teshha.n satatyuktanaaM bhajataaM priitipuurvakam.h .

dadaami buddhiyoga.n ta.n yena maamupayaanti te ..

 

To them, ever devout, worshipping Me with love, I give that knowledge

by which they reach Me.

 

teshamevaanukampaarthamahamaj~naanaja.n tamaH .

naashayaamyaatmabhaavastho j~naanadiipena bhaasvataa ..

 

For them only, out of compassion, dwelling in their hearts, I dispel the

darkness of ignorance by the luminous lamp of wisdom.
