One might say self is a puppet of K. but the Self isn't. When knowing one is the Self, it is impossible to identify with self and K. will burn down every obstacle, whether virtue or vice (and finally Herself, as symbolized by the snake eating its own tail), that hinders the uninterrupted "experience" of Sat_Cit_Ananda. But even when still "on that road", it will become clear that although K. could be said to be "Power of mind", there is nothing but the Self. How ever, the reason behind asking for introduction is just that the list participants will come to know the new comer. Imagine somebody knocked your door, what you do? You open the door and invite him in; then you make him sit and ask about his whereabouts. I don't think you take a cane in to your hand and ask him his whereabouts :-) Please think that at Advaitin we are doing the same, I don't think asking brief introduction gives out a harsh picture. We want all to participate, this list belongs to everybody, hence we have a right to know each other. It is said that understanding things otherwise, getting a different vision, is the sign of true kundalini awekening. I am sure your you are one awakened :-) God bless you with all compassion. Please do not hesitate to suggest any improvements even in future. I remain yours, Madhava P.S: While writing I was just wondering how people are going to interpret my last line. Do you know the art of reading in-between the lines? Giving below is an example :-) Letter of Recommendation: Bob Smith, my assistant programmer, can always be found hard at work in his cubicle. Bob works independently, without wasting company time talking to colleagues. Bob never thinks twice about assisting fellow employees, and he always finishes given assignments on time. Often Bob takes extended measures to complete his work, sometimes skipping coffee breaks. Bob is a dedicated individual who has absolutely no vanity in spite of his high accomplishments and profound knowledge in his field. I firmly believe that Bob can be classed as a high-caliber employee, the type which cannot be dispensed with. Consequently, I duly recommend that Bob be promoted to executive management, and a proposal will be sent away as soon as possible. Project Leader A MEMO WAS SOON SENT FOLLOWING THE LETTER: That stupid idiot was reading over my shoulder when I wrote the report sent to you earlier today. Kindly read every second line (i.e., 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, ...) for my true assessment of him. Regards, Project Leader David Herdlinger
