Guest guest
Harih Om Varadarajanji: You have raised some interesting points and questions. Let me share with you, my understanding of the issues raised: An important role of every religion is help human beings to cope up with their daily life. My posting implicitly has a religious content and is fundamentally in agreement with the subtle message of Bhagavad Gita. We have to complete all our obligations and accept all outcome with equanimity. (1) The message is simple, we always try to direct our mind, but many times we succumb to the demands of the mind! (2) The entire Bhagavad Gita deals extensively about human pitfalls. (3) Sadanandaji is quite right. First, I would suggest that we read the entire Gita. (4) We more or less determine to complicate our life with our imaginative notions of life! (5) Shankara, Ramanuja and Madhava have fundamentally emphasize mind purification but they approached it differently. The Hindu population with diverse background needed more than one theory to reconcile the riddle of life. The adoption of the philosophies of Shankara, Ramanuja and Madhava only confirms that one size can't fit all people! Finally, there is nothing unique about Indians in general, the habit of disagreement is present across the spectrum of human race. Islam maintains the same document does not mean there are no diverse opinions. In fact, there are so many divisions of sub religions within Christianity and Islam! --- P B Varadharajan <pbvrajan wrote: >......
