Lord Shiva came in the form of a pestering dog to illuminate a great Shiva Bhakta, who boasted that he saw Shiva in one and all, but could not tolerate this dirty dog bothering him as he was walking. Lord Shiva also illuminated the great Bringi muni, who venerated Shiva totally but in only in his male form, by becoming ardhanareeswaran. When all the chaff is discriminatingly thrown out why should any one question Upnanishadic truths brought out through strong and pungent language of UGK? He attacked the mind(s) of the questioner(s) since the questions themselves were not original from the soul searchings of the questioner(s). They were trying to compare (here comes their minds!) to understand UGK. UGK is trying to tell through shocking words that the comparison and the resultant deceptive understanding does not work. Many a time, when the mind is numbed or dumb-founded, Truth, Upanishadic Truth, emerges spontaneously from within! This is not to justify UGK.
