Guest guest
Hi Laura! I went through the article by GreenWell and Kurt. I feel article by Greenwell was indeed almost a complete one. True his article displayed the much research and serious studies in to kundalini awakening. Comments by Kurt were just the ones needed. Recently i came across some of the articles on Kundalini. They very clearly outlayed what all happens during Kundalini Awakening. They for sure will be very helpful to people on the path of Kundalini Awakening or who stumble in to it. When i get time i will translate them and post. As GreenWell said there is no escape from the bitter experiences during kundalini awakening. We have to clear off all the pyschological or mental distotions. Rising kundalini asks us to do that and unless we do this we are not at peace. Yes it's very necessary that a person going for kundalini awakening should be physically and mentallly sound so that he can withstand the energy. Rather it is said that even if we awaken the kundalini through the procedures of Yogic exercises ( Pranayama, Dhauti, Neti, .... ) it can happen it may become unstable even after awakening. It is said that in Kundalini Awakening the presence of Guru is required at every second. A competent Guru himself burns down many of the sins of the disciple and makes this journey bit peaceful but still the disciple has to sort his mental distortions. A competent Gur knows wat can happen or does know how to take care of things. Guru gives as much as a disciple can chew and sets his pace according to that. That's the presence of Guru becomes very essential on this path of Kundalini Awakening. Sexual feelings are one of the main hurdles in kundalini awakening. We have to rise above sexual feelings to continue and proceed on the path of kundalini awakening. Unless we have full control over sexual feelings we will never be able to become enlightened. Rather they say kundalini awakening is nothin but the journey of emotions. It's the pious feelings that keep the kundalini stable. I too find it very true that Kundalini may awaken that is some of the chakraas may awaken and that to partially but for realization whole of it needs to be awakened. Different emotions and powers are linked with different chakraas and we have to deal with all for enlightment. Also as GreenWell said that we have to undergo total psychological transformation unless that for sure there is no enlightment. And this transformation can take any time. I too agree with GreenWell that the kundalini awakening is just the initial step. Energies flowing here and there, visions and powers .... we have to rise above all these to become enlightened. Here too Guru comes to help if one is stuck Guru gives blows of a kind that it breaks the ego down and at the same time doesn't hurt the disciple to the extent to an untolearable extent. Kundalini Awakening is the journey of piousness. One can't get along on this path with non - pious acts. Kundalini Awakening is said to be an mystery of infinite fold. If a competent Guru is there the process of kundalini awakening starts by itself. Guru looks after everything. If one can get a competent Guru then nothin like that otherwise i think kundalini will sooner or later can give one a hell lot of time. > "Laura Olshansky" <editor > > ````````````````````````````````` > RADICAL GRADUALISM: > A JOURNAL OF AWAKENING > by Phil Servedio > > This is the best first-person account of > awakening we've ever read.
