Guest guest
Dear Edith I have passed on your message to Prof Tate at the University of California. Just a collection of such data of 'transcendental experiences' of scientists (or lay people) cannot be the key for finding links between Science and Spirituality. A more direct approach which can show the findings of science in a more 'economical manner' through spiritual findings is the way science and spirituality can be linked. Spiritual findings have to make very serious contribution in taking science further. They should help to make more sense of science itself! It is a tall order but can be done. What we find at this University of California site is the acknowledgement that scientists (from time to time) get glimpses of something 'transcendental' -- In some cases these experiences have helped progress in science. jay p.s. the website we are talking about is THE ARCHIVES OF SCIENTISTS' TRANSCENDENT EXPERIENCES (TASTE) http://psychology.ucdavis.edu/tart/taste/
