Guest guest
We continue on the theme of Raja yoga as explained by Swami Vivekananda Raja Yoga (3) We have discussed the aims of Raja yoga: - "Spirituality to be first hand experience" Main requirement is strong desire for such experience - what are the other tools? (1) Sound (healthy) body and mind. Raja yoga says these are essential tools. The body/mind must be healthy else they become a hindrance. (2) The need for a qualified teacher. Not as easy as it may appear. The teacher must be successful in the practice of Raja yoga. (Many 'gurus' will claim to be qualified. We have to take great care and decide for ourselves if the 'guru' is qualified).
