Sri Hanuman took the aerial route telling the name of Rama. The Vanara army came back on the bridge they had made. On the way back , Sri Rama stopped at the Ashram of the sage Bharadwaja. It was the time of lunch and great preparations had been made to serve everyone from Sri Rama to all the Vanara army members. It so happened that sage had a divine cow by which a large amount of food could be procured instantly. However the cow would stop producing the food the moment the guests started eating. It so happened that on this ocassion after Sri Rama's victory over Ravana and the triumphant return of the army, everyone sat down to eat without seeing whether anybody was absent. Sri Hanuman was absent when everyone started their meals. Just when the meal started, Sri Hanuman dropped down from the sky. The sage was perplexed as to what to do now. No more food could be served since the guest have started eating and here was the great Rama Bhaktha who was his guest, with no place to eat. Sri Rama solved this problem in a simple way. He separated the food on His leaf plate into two halves and asked Hanuman to sit besides Him and eat. Thus Bhagavan and Bhaktha ate from two sides of the same leaf plate. This Bhojana (feast) is supposed to be one amongst the three best meals that the Lord has had in his various incarnations. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ A FREE web-based e-mail service brought to you by the PC World Technology Network.
