Guest guest
Namaste, Whenever visitors used to seek grace from Sri Ramana, his reply would be to the effect that whoever was in search of the root/source of one's existence is already a recipient of it! Nothing extra was required! Guest guest
Hari Om: Please post your (excellent) viewpoints directly on the list so that everyone can benefit from your posting. You are quite right in your description of a recipe for a Karma Yogi. Soon, in Verses 55 to 72, Lord Krishna describes the qualities of a perfect yogi (stithaprajna). When we practice our life with a yagna spirit our attitude and personality changes completely. We eventually get the qualities: 1.ahankara tyaga (egoless), 2.Phala tyaga (action without looking for rewards), 3.Samatva buddi (equanimity) and 4.Ishwararpana buddi(prasad buddhi - accept the result as a gift from God). When we attain these qualities we become a perfect yogi (stithaprajna) and the life which converts our personality toward this goal become spiritual. In early stages, we are the sadhakas who conducts sadhana and develop the habits of a Karma Yogi. In order to follow this path of life, Ishwarakrupa (His Grace)is the necessary ingredient. Strong faith and conviction can make us to believe and attain Ishwarakrupa. regards, Ram Chandran >Ref: Gita ch2 shl 40 <ram chandran> >(3rd para)"The karma yogi follows the spiritual path of life" > >i don't know why karmayogi is always attached with spiritual, >A fellow who is following 4 qualities in his life activities is called as >karmayogi(gita itself puts it) >1.ahankara tyaga >2.Phaltyaga >3.Samatva buddi >4.Ishwararpana buddi > >i wanted to confirm whether spiritual word is used to convey the above >meaning or else? > >please reply >Viraj
