Dear and Blessed SHri Cahndran

Hari Om. Salutations.

 

I am a new member. I find the emails from your web site that I receive daily

very satisfying. A few words about myself.

 

I am a student of Swami Tatwananda for the last 20 odd years. My husband and I

were blessed to be in the group of pioneers in Sri Lanka to form the Chinamaya

Mission in the late 70s. We had some blissful years with Gurudev coming annually

for yagnas.

 

Swami Tatwananda is a disciple of H.H. Swami Chinmayanandaji and H.H.Swami

Dayanandaji. He taught us for about 5 years in Sri Lanka.Now He has his own

ashram- Vedanta Foundation in Madurai.After leaving Sri Lanka 15 years ago, I

have kept my studentship alive and growing by going to the Ashramto attend the

classes there and other places-for 2-3 months annually and also by bringing

back the recorded tapes of his classes for self-study here in Lyon.

 

My husband works for Interpol based in Lyon-France and he is frequently away

for conferences in other parts of the world and there is hardly anyone in Lyon

to share/communicate the teachings- By Krishna's grace now I find immense

satisfaction in going through the emails that come from you folks. I feel that

I am amongst sadhaks and thats such a fulfilling feeling. May

Krishna's choicest blessings be with you and all others who sincerely make

this blessing for sadhaks possible.

 

I would love to share some excerpts from Swami Tatwananda's books

(Gita/Vedanta, etc.) and from the satsanghs as well. If that is acceptable I

will send excerpts from "Mind and Serenity" based on Verses 55-72 of Gita.

 

Please acknowledge this mail and do let me know whether I should send the

excerpts to this address or to advaitin .
