Arjuna cries in like manner in XI:41-44 :

 

in #44: tasmaatpraNamya praNidhaaya kaayam.h

prasaadaye tvaamahamiishamiiDyam.h .

piteva putrasya sakheva sakhyuH

priyaH priyaayaarhasi deva soDhum.h ..

 

Therefore, bowing down, prostrating my body, I implore Thee, adorable Lord,

to forgive. It is meet Thou shouldst bear with me as the father with the

son, as friend with friend, as the lover with the bloved.

Yesterday I read that whoever is taking without giving is a

thief,

and I cried because I am a thief.

Next day I saw a beautiful high sky and I gave it to you.

I saw green spring trees and I gave them all to you.

I gave you all I see,

I gave you all I feel,

I gave you all I think,

I did not leave anything to myself.

I feel happy because I returned stolen.

My Lord, just let me keep the joy of returning everything to
