An Introduction of Swamini Brahmapriyanandaji

Greetings Advaitins:

 

It is our pleasure to enclose a brief introduction of Swamini. Swamini is a

great Sanskrit Scholar and the list is quite fortunate to have her guidance.

Though Swamini may not have lots of time to answer all questions from members,

she would certainly address members' concerns on Vedantic concepts and

Sanskrit Grammer. This is a great opportunity for members to bring such

questions and post them to the list.

 

we will certainly forward key questions for which Swamini can answer. She

certainly plans to post important sections of Swami Dayanandaji's commentary

from the Homestudy program.

Swamini Brahmapriyanandaji's Introduction paragrahp:

 

Now about a few personal notes about me. I had been intending to give this

since long and some how never found the time.

 

I am a Gynecologist by profession. I did my post graduation in OBGYN from

Bombay and practiced in a rural area (on the outskirts of Bombay near the

Tarapur Atomic Power Station) setting up medical facilities of almost all

specialities. I practiced for twelve years and then came to Arsha Vidya

Gurukulam cbe when it was inaugurated as student of the first three year

course in Vedanta and as a teacher of Paninian grammar. Since the ten years I

am here as a teacher of Sanskrit and after my course in Vedanta since the last

six years I also teach Vedanta also here in the Gurukulam and also outside. I

also edit some of Swamiji's books and am at present working on the second

edition of the Gita Home Study Program.
