It has been the polacy of this list serve to avoid any personal attacks against any body- saint or sinner. And we want to keep it that way. At the same time the discussions are open to every teaching by any teacher that relates to advaita aspect while the major emphasis has been on the teachings of Shree Adi Shankara. As you have said you may have your karma to follow, but definitely not on the advaitin forum. We hope you respect the charter of the advaitin list serve. Hari Om! Sadananda K. I do realize that forums in general need to be monitored and controlled after reading that some one had filed a law suit against an ISP. I'll be following the case. I would like to believe though that all listed members got involved in this forum, by sheer Grace, due to their spiritual maturity and responsibility. Tony's allegation is not new and has been echoed by several persons internationally. On a personal note, a close and reliable associate of mine revealed the same event transpired between himself and the said leader when he was privileged to obtain an interview at his ashram in India, some fifteen years ago ! In disgust, he sought out another teacher in south India. I remain neutral to this situation even today. I realize that this is not the appropriate forum for this kind of stuff, but all seekers of Truth must consider both the apparent and absolute realities so as to make better informed and constructive decisions in their own personal life (street-sense), and provide sound recommendations and guidance for the benefit of all sentient beings. I believe Tony has learnt some more of the rules and regulations of this community and from what I read has decided to be more thoughtful of the implications of such matters in the future. Should the moderators wish to enforce their proposed censoring , then please lets have a single standard for all. I recently read in this forum where attempts were made not only to undermine but ridicule another controversial spiritual teacher - Osho- no one attempted to prevent this. You are absolutely right that a single standard to be followed for all. I was not aware of the personal attacks of any teacher and it is possible it might have escaped the attemtion of the moderators. I urge everyone including you to bring these issues to the attention of moderators as well as the participants if such violations occur. It is responsibility of everyone of us to make sure that the discussions are of the highest level without any personal attacks on individuals. I request everyone to adhere to the rules so that we can all freely discuss the issues and benefit from each other. Hari Om! Sadananda K.
