Guest guest
Hari Om Tonyji: I agree with your understanding of Karma yoga siting the quotation from Jesus. The discussions from Gita is also on the same lines. According to Gita, we should do our duty to the best of our abilities and accept the outcome without excitements and disappointments. Your observation that Karma yoga is to remove the doership feeling (ego) is quite right. Each of us choose (assume that we have a choice!) and pursue Karma, Bhakti or Jnana Yoga in the beginning. However, it is impossible to perform karma yoga without deep love for the Lord. It is also impossible to do away with the doership without the understanding that the cause and effects are due to the Lord. A Karma Yogi is necessarily a Bhakti Yogi and a Jnana yogi. We may perceive some as Karma Yogis, some as Bhakti Yogis and some as Jnana Yogis. Our perception is always incomplete and with His grace we will be able to realize the Truth. regards, Ram Chandran --- Tony O'Clery <aoclery wrote: > > Namaste All, > > > It is my understanding that Karma Yoga is a choice > > for > > suitable personalities.
