Guest guest Posted June 2, 2000 Report Share Posted June 2, 2000 And only that guide is called a Sadguru or a true master, who can tell us how to accomplish Sadhanas, how to chant Mantras that could lead us to the divine joy that forms the basis of human life. Books cannot teach you Sadhanas. For that we need a living person to whom we could relate our problems and who could provide solutions to them. And to find a Guru you do not have to leave this world or your social circle. If Lord Buddha left his home, his wife, he started to associate with other people, his disciples. It is not a matter of leaving the world or immersing oneself completely into it, for it is not a rule that one shall enter into meditation sitting alone or one shall attain to totality in life after leaving home.
