Guest guest
Once Sri Ramakrishna was teaching his disciples at Dakshineshwar. He started talking of the Vaishnava system. One of the things he mentioned about Vaishnava system was to show sympathy towards all living beings. The moment he said this, he went into Samadhi. While he was coming back to outer consciousness, he said, "Sympathy, sympathy. What arrogance! Who are you to show sympathy ? No it cannot be sympathy , but worship the divine in all ". This made a great impression on Narendra who heard all this , who later refered to this as a beautiful discussion where in the master showed the meeting point of advaitic vedanta and bhakthi.
