Guest guest
It is very interesting to know that our Scientists are set to unravel human genome map! I am very keen on knowing where this research is going to lead the world... I hope they don't use it to classify all the humans in to four groups, like our Seers did long long ago, which has eventually landed our vedic believers society in to a labyrinth.. Anyway, everything is a big speculation at this moment. Gene means sections in the DNA that determine the synthesis of proteins, which govern all of the life processes from birth to death. It seems Genes account for only two to four percent of human DNA. Scientists call the rest of it as "junk" or "silent" DNA, and its use is yet unclear... INTERESTING ISN'T IT? !! Guest guest
True madhava when the news medias use words like "Selfish Genes" and more to come. Its really becomes a concern. Yes Madhava back here once i went for a talk which was on something like Conciousness and the speaker was a reowned prof. in Bio-Chemistry. He too talked about the 96-98% of the DNA by saying that no one knows about it and that part of DNA is still a mystery. Talk was basically about conciousness and what science has to say about it. love, Anurag On Sun, 25 Jun 2000, Madhava K. Guest guest
Hi! If Genes contain the Karmic data, which can not be found or analyzed by scientific methods, then Gene therapy may lead to unforeseen side effects, which may be be difficult to codify! Hopefully the known information are so little that we may not tap into the Karmic genes that easily!! -- Vis
