Guest guest
Dear Madhava I am very fond of Sri Mad Bhagbatam & Tulsi Krit Ramayana; With your kind encouragement, I would like to ask your opinion, Is it okay to Post some of it from the Scripture to share & to get more meaning out of it through learned members like you are? Please advise? Thank you. S.R.U.

Guest guest
You are most welcome! Actually, you don't need permission to do good things :-) Please go ahead and post them... The best day for posting Bhagawata is "Tuesday" and the best day to post Sri Tulsi Ramayan is "Saturday". You can post them every week on these days. Also post the meaning in English, so that other list participants can understand. I don't know whether I am learned or not, but I agree with you that there is a lot to learn from the great scholars available on this list... Just to name a few: Sri Sadananda, Sri Ramchandran, Sri Dr. Harsha, Sri Greg Goode, Sri Frank Maiello, Sri Prof. KrishnaMurthy, Sri Prof. Gummaluru Murthy, Sri Nanda Chandran, Sri Sundar Hattangadi, Sri Vidyashankar Sundareshan, Sri Ravi Mayavaram, Sri Ruben, Sri Anand Natarajan...... this list could go on...!!!! Guest guest
Thank you very much. Here is one That Gopini said in Gopi Geet; Madhuraya Gira Balgu Bakkeya Budh mnogeya Puskarechhena. Bidhikaririma Bira muiheti radharsidhuna piyeessona. 8. (Book Ten Dis.31) Translation: (Pray)Revive with the nectar of your lips O valiant one, these women, in the person of ourselves, who are ready to do your bidding and who are getting charmed, O. Lord with lotus eyes, by yours melodious speech, consisting of delightful expressions and pleasing (even) to the learned. Taba Katha mritam tapta jeevanam Kabi viriditam Kalmasapaham Srawana mangalam sri mada tatam bhubi grinantite bhuridajana: 9 (Book 10, Dis.31) Translation: Munificent are those men who extensively recite on earth your nectar-like story, which is life-giving to the afflicted, has been celebrated by the wise are eradicates (all) sins, which is auspicious to hear and is most soothing (too). ****** Above are taken from Srimad Bhagbatam Mahapuran , Geeta Press Gorakhpur. Hope our learned members will like to give more simple explanation about how Gopini loved Sri Krishna & what is the meaning behind this gopi Geet for us in our every day life. When I do my walks in the Mountain (Santa Cruz Mt in CA, in the Bay Area). I enjoy singing it there. Jai Sri Krishna. S.R.U.
